I have been such a total and complete slack-ass. I have not done any real working out or even walking in 3 months. But, that is all about to change. My fiance has decided she wants to loose weight and get in shape. Yesterday, she wanted me to teach her how to use my Bowflex but I explained that was mainly for toning and that she needs to do some cardio exercises in order to loose fat. So, she went out to the garage and used the jump rope for about 5 minutes.

Then, she asked about the other bicycle I have. (When I bought my Trek Valencia, I took the seat and pedals from my Nishiki and put them on the Trek.) So, I aired up the tires of the Nishiki and installed the seat and pedals from the Trek. I then setup the rollers with the front fork stand, adjusted the seat for her and let her ride for a little while. She rode for about 15 minutes. I asked if she wanted to ride down the street, which she did. We rode to the end of the street and she decided she wanted to ride around the block. She ended up riding around the block 3 times.

And, we are planning on walking tonight - as long as the weather permits. I know it is so much easier to maintain a fitness program if you have someone doing it with you.
